Half-Time Report: Blackpool play out goalless first half with Bolton Wanderers

Defenders dominate the first half as Blackpool's clash with Bolton Wanderers remains goalless.

A tight first half between Blackpool and Bolton Wanderers has ended goalless at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool looked bright in the early stages as Thomas Ince fired a shot over the crossbar before Ricardo Fuller saw his header easily saved by Adam Bogdan.

Liam Feeney was proving to be the main threat for Bolton and he was a key part of the move which saw Jermaine Beckford gain the opportunity to get a shot away, but Matt Gilks was able to easily block the miscued effort.

Bolton goalkeeper Bogdan was forced into another save midway through the first half when Bobby Grant saw his powerful effort pushed past the post.

Ince once again tried his luck before the interval but his long-range strike drifted just wide of the target.
