Half-Time Report: Blackpool, Reading level at the break

Blackpool and Reading go into half time at 0-0.

Blackpool and Reading go into half time at 0-0 following an entertaining first half at Bloomfield Road.

Reading created the first chance of the game when Hal Robson-Kanu found space, but the striker shot wide.

Reading kept the ball well in the opening stages, but Brighton were able to keep their shape without too many problems.

When Paul Ince's men got hold of the ball, great link-up play between Ricardo Fuller and Nathan Delfouneso saw the ex-Aston Villa man put an inviting ball across the box, only for his teammates not to follow up.

Blackpool continued to mount pressure and a great run and delivery from Jack Robinson looked to pick out Bobby Grant, though the ball was cleared away for a corner.

Angel Martinez grew into the game and almost carved open an opportunity for Blackpool when his ball picked out Neal Bishop who was only able to head wide.

Reading provided a late surge in the first half and Royston Drenthe's free kick had to be palmed away by goalkeeper Matt Gilks, before Jem Karacan clipped an effort against the bar.
