Blackpool manager Paul Ince has reportedly offered his resignation, which the club has swiftly rejected.
The 45-year-old took on his new role at Bloomfield Road on February 18 and led the Championship outfit to 15th in the table.
It is understood that Ince has told the club that he wants to resign from his post, but the outfit's hierarchy have turned down the request, according to Sky Sports News.
Ince became Blackpool boss following the dismissal of Michael Appleton, who took over from Ian Holloway, who moved to Crystal Palace.
