Blackpool duo Ian Holloway and Thomas Ince have been voted as the Championship's manager and player of the month for August.

Holloway led Blackpool to maximum points from their opening three league games as the Seasiders moved to the top of the Championship table.

Winger Ince has netted two goals for Blackpool and after a string of impressive performances, he was deemed the best player of the Championship for the opening month of the season.

Blackpool, who lost their opening match of September to Leicester, play Barnsley on Saturday.
