Sven-Goran Eriksson interested in Blackburn Rovers manager job?

Sven-Goran Eriksson reportedly informs Blackburn Rovers via his representatives that he is interested in becoming the club's new manager.

Blackburn Rovers have reportedly been alerted to the interest made by Sven-Goran Eriksson in the vacant managerial role at Ewood Park.

The Championship outfit are in the hunt for a new boss following the dismissal of Henning Berg after just 57 days in charge.

It is understood that former England boss Eriksson has entered the fray after his representatives informed the club that the Swede would be interested in taking up the position, according to the Lancashire Telegraph.

Blackburn global advisor Shebby Singh recently claimed that the club's next appointment would be a short-term agreement.
