Shebby Singh says that Blackburn Rovers will take their time to appoint a new manager to replace Henning Berg.

Blackburn Rovers global advisor Shebby Singh has said that the club will not appoint a manager "in the immediate future".

The Championship side are currently without a manager, having sacked Henning Berg on Thursday.

"There have been no appointments made, nor will there be in the immediate future," Singh told BBC Sport.

Reserve team coach Gary Bowyer will be in charge of Rovers for their clash with Barnsley at the Oakwell Stadium on Saturday.
