Birmingham City have won their second pre-season friendly in a row with a hard-fought victory over Conference Premier side Forest Green Rovers.
The only goal of the game came in the first half as Clayton Donaldson netted on 18 minutes, Reece Brown providing the assist.
Brown missed a chance from six yards moments later, putting a side-footed effort wide after robbing possession in the Forest Green half.
Birmingham continued to press after the break, with chances for Gray and Thomas, but Forest Green kept the scoreline at 1-0.
Lee Clark's men ran out 3-0 winners against Cork City last week.
