Lee Clark's Birmingham City scored three goals against a spirited Cork City side this evening, with the League of Ireland Premier Division team managing to stay in the game up until the 83rd minute.

Paul Robinson opened the scoring for the English side on eight minutes, though the Blues were made to work for the win.

Paul Caddis added a second for the Championship outfit on 83 minutes, with Lee Novak wrapping the game up with a goal on 89 minutes.
