Real Betis are reportedly preparing a move for Nacional de Madeira striker Mario Rondon.
The La Liga strugglers are believed to be in the market for at least two new strikers in January, with Leo Baptistao already joining on loan from Atletico Madrid.
Fulham's Bryan Ruiz was also strongly linked with a move to La Liga's basement outfit, but it is believed that proposed deal has now fallen through.
According to A Bola, Betis have made an approach for Rondon, who has scored six times in 14 matches in the Portuguese top flight this season.
It is believed that the offer for the 27-year-old is in the region of £1m.
