Report: Rayo Vallecano want Leo Baptistao on loan

A report claims that Rayo Vallecano want to sign Atletico Madrid striker Leo Baptistao on loan in January.

Rayo Vallecano are reportedly keen on taking Atletico Madrid striker Leo Baptistao on loan in the January transfer window.

The Brazilian moved to the Vicente Calderon from Rayo in the summer, but has struggled to force his way into Diego Simeone's starting lineup due to the form of Diego Costa and David Villa.

According to reports in Spain, Atletico want the youngster to gain first-team football for the rest of the season, meaning that a return to his former club could be on the cards.

It had been feared that Baptistao could miss the remainder of the campaign after injuring his ankle last week, but that has since been quelled by Atletico.
