Alessandro Matri admits that he does not want to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals and dreams of reaching the final at Wembley.

Juventus striker Alessandro Matri has said that he does not want to face Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The Italian champions will host Celtic in the second leg of their last-16 tie on Wednesday, having won the first leg 3-0 in Glasgow last month.

Bayern are also in a good position to make it through to the last eight, as they are 3-1 up from their first-leg clash against Arsenal in London.

"Should we qualify, then I'd like to avoid Bayern Munich," he told Il Corriere dello Sport. "A tie against Milan? I'd like to play them further forward in the tournament.

"Reaching the final at Wembley is the dream. However, top of our list is to win the Scudetto again."

Matri has scored one goal in six Champions League appearances this season.
