Juventus striker Alessandro Matri has admitted that he was delighted to have been credited with his side's first goal in the 3-0 win at Celtic Park on Tuesday.
The goal was initially given to Claudio Marchisio, who made sure it went over the line, but has since been awarded to Matri.
"The goal? I immediately realised that the ball had crossed the line and I complained to the linesman," Gazzetta dello Sport quotes Matri as saying.
"I'm glad it was given to me, even if Marchisio made sure it went in. The assist on the second goal made me happy, but as a striker I live for goals."
Juventus are now heavy favourites to progress into the Champions League quarter-finals.
