Jupp Heynckes reveals that Bayern Munich closely followed Lille's performance against Bordeaux in Ligue 1 on Friday.

Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has revealed that he sent scouts to France to watch Lille's Ligue 1 game against Bordeaux on Friday.

The German giants are in Lille on Tuesday for their Champions League Group F encounter at Stade Lille Metropole, having picked up three points from two matches so far.

"Our scouts went to watch LOSC's weekend game against Bordeaux, and I saw it on television," he said.

"LOSC are one of the best teams in France, regardless of the league table. They are well organised and have a good structure.

"We are going to give everything we have and I am happy to have a number of experienced players."

In the other game in Group F on Tuesday, BATE Borisov will entertain Valencia in Minsk.
