Team News: Stefan Kiessling back in for Bayer Leverkusen

Stefan Kiessling returns to the Bayer Leverkusen starting lineup for the away trip to Hannover.

Bayer Leverkusen head coach Sami Hyypia has recalled Stefan Kiessling to his starting XI having left him out of last weekend's defeat to Mainz 05.

Kiessling plays in an attacking three comprised of Son Heung-Min and Gonzalo Castro, while Emre Can comes back into the midfield instead of filling in at left-back.

For the hosting Hannover ever-present striker Mame Biram Diouf is joined up front by Artjoms Rudnevs. Leonardo Bittencourt is tasked with providing the creativity from in-behind.

Hannover: Zieler; Sakai, Hoffmann, Schulz, Pocognoli; Schmiedebach, Andreasen; Huszti, Bittencourt; Diouf, Rudnevs

Bayer: Leno; Hilbert, Spahic, Wollscheid, Boenisch; Rolfes, Can, Hegeler; Castro, Kiessling, Son
