Athletic Bilbao will reportedly repel any interest from Barcelona in their Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera this summer.
It had been reported on Sunday that Barca were preparing a move for the playmaker, with Cesc Fabregas seemingly heading for the exit door this summer.
However, according to AS, Bilbao will not let the 24-year-old depart for anything less than his £30m release clause – a figure that Barcelona are not prepared to meet this summer.
As a result, Herrera, who helped Bilbao finish fourth in La Liga during the 2013-14 campaign, will remain at San Mames.
Herrera's current deal with Bilbao expires in two years.
