Report: Barcelona monitoring El Ghazi

A report claims that Ajax's 20-year-old attacker Anwar El Ghazi is a transfer target for European champions Barcelona.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Ajax attacker Anwar El Ghazi.

The 20-year-old, who joined Ajax in 2014 after initially spending time in both the Feyenoord and Sparta Rotterdam academies, has scored eight times in 16 appearances for his Dutch club this season.

El Ghazi was also one of the few bright sparks for a Netherlands team that failed to qualify for Euro 2016.

According to Algemeen Dagblad, Barcelona have been impressed by the Dutchman's performances this season and are considering the possibility of a January move.

El Ghazi scored his first Champions League goal away to Barcelona last season.
