Barcelona midfielder Rafinha emerges as a reported transfer target for Fiorentina, according to a report.

Fiorentina have reportedly joined the race for Barcelona midfielder Rafinha.

The 26-year-old is currently with the Barca squad preparing for the 2019-20 campaign, but the Brazil international is expected to move on before the end of the summer transfer window.

Valencia have been linked with a swoop for the midfielder, who has missed a lot of football over the last couple of seasons due to two separate knee injuries.

However, according to AS, Fiorentina are also in the hunt for South American with his Spanish club only said to be looking for a fee of £13.5m.

Rafinha, who has made 87 first-team appearances for Barca in all competitions, will see his contract at Camp Nou expire in June 2020.

The attacker represented Inter Milan on loan in the second half of the 2017-18 campaign, scoring twice in 17 Serie A appearances before returning to Spain.
