Mexican youngster Jose Juan Macias has declared that he is "ready to play in Europe" and has suggested that Barcelona would be his preferred club.
The 19-year-old recently completed a permanent move to Club Leon from Guadalajara, having scored 10 times in 20 appearances during a loan spell last season.
The striker has suggested that he dreams of representing Barca in the future, while he wants to be considered as one of the best players "in the history of Mexico".
"Barcelona are the team I watch the most, I know that for many it is boring, but I like to analyse them and see all the movements of Luis Suarez, who is the best number nine in the world," Macias told Marca.
"I would like to play in many different leagues and, as for teams, I am struck by Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, which is supported by many young people, as are PSV Eindhoven and Ajax in Holland. I am ready to play in Europe; my dream is to be the best in the history of Mexico."
Macias, who is a five-time Mexico Under-21 international, was on the scoresheet at the weekend as Leon opened their new league season with a 3-1 win at Pachuca.
