Former Barcelona forward Hristo Stoichkov has told the Spanish champions to forget about a move for Neymar in this summer's transfer window.
The 27-year-old continues to be linked with a return to the Catalan giants amid suggestions that he has played his final match for Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Stoichkov, who won five La Liga titles during his time at Camp Nou, has insisted that Barca do not need the Brazil international due to the presence of Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembele and Antoine Griezmann.
"Barcelona do not need Neymar," Stoichkov told Univision. "He has no place there, as they already have important players like Suarez, Griezmann, Messi and Dembele.
"Where is he going to play in that team? He would be like a bomb in the dressing room. In my opinion, I do not want him back at the club."
Barca are reportedly keen for Neymar - said to be valued in the region of €200m (£188m) by PSG - to publicly declare that he wants to return to the club this summer.
Real Madrid are also being linked with a move for the South American before the Spanish transfer window closes at the start of next month.
