Ivan Rakitic: 'We need to keep working hard'

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic says that his team are "enjoying" their fine run of form, but are aware of the need to "keep working hard" in the months ahead.

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has insisted that his team will continue "working hard" in a bid to make this season as successful as the 2014-15 campaign.

The Catalan outfit have beaten Real Madrid 4-0 and thumped Roma 6-1 in their last two matches, leading to suggestions that they could repeat their treble heroics from last season.

Rakitic has said that the whole team are currently 'enjoying their football', but are aware of the need for consistency in the months ahead.

"We like to attack and defend together. We're comfortable, we're enjoying it and that is what's most important," Rakitic told AS.

"We want to continue that way. We like the word invincible but we know the end of the season is a long way away. We want to enjoy the moment and move on knowing there are still a lot of games and games where things are won.

"We're happy, but there are games where we'll need a little more. We're enjoying the moment but we keep working hard."

Barcelona return to La Liga action at home to Real Sociedad at the weekend.
