Neymar admits difficulties

Barcelona forward Neymar admits that his first season in Spanish football has been both "good and bad".

Barcelona forward Neymar has conceded that his first season in Spanish football has been both "good and bad".

The Brazilian international moved to the Camp Nou from Santos in the summer – a transfer that has been dogged by controversy in recent months.

The 22-year-old has scored 15 times for Barca this season, but has struggled to find his best form in the second half of the campaign.

"I've had everything, good and bad. I've had a tough time but I'll lift my head and look forward. This season has been a year of learning many things. I came from another country, another football, and it was a completely new situation for me," Mundo Deportivo quotes Neymar as saying.

"I had to adapt personally, although I have learned a lot and not only on a personal level but a professional level. I hope that this will serve to give me more and next season we achieve many successes.

"I feel relaxed. Not everything in life is easy. Sometimes there are good mornings and others that are less so. Recently we lost the Cup final and that's not a good feeling but you have to learn from everything. When you feel sad, you look up and keep smiling."

Neymar is currently on the sidelines with a foot injury.
