Luis Enrique: 'Barcelona's front three is the best in history'

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique lauds his trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar as the greatest attack in the history of football.

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has suggested that the club's attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar is the best that there has ever been in football.

The trio scored 122 goals last season as Barca won the treble of La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League, and they have led Barca to sit four points clear at the top of the league and qualify for the knockout round in Europe's top competition in the current campaign despite Messi missing almost two months with a knee injury.

Between them, the three stars have scored more goals in 2015 than any other club, and Enrique believes that football has never seen a greater attacking lineup.

"From Barcelona, yes, it is the best of all time and I would dare to say in the history of football," he told reporters.

"To get players together of this level with their individual ability, to get that many goals and support each other in this way, it has never happened on any other team in recent history.

"I do not know everything about the history of football but I would say yes [they are the best ever]."

All three players are expected to start as Barcelona travel to the Mestalla to take on Valencia on Saturday.
