Neymar hits back at Barcelona fans for 'not being with the team'

Barcelona star Neymar hits back at the fans for not supporting the team when they went a goal down against Bayer Leverkusen in their Champions League match.

Barcelona star Neymar has hit back at the fans as he felt that they were not supporting the team during last night's Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen.

There was plenty of whistling from the home fans at Camp Nou when Barca, who will be without Lionel Messi for the next six to eight weeks due to injury, went one goal down in the first half.

In the final 10 minutes of the clash, Sergi Roberto and Luis Suarez struck to give the hosts a comeback win.

"Yes, it is difficult when the fans are not with us," Neymar told AS. "I'm very happy for the victory, but we suffered a lot to win the match.

"The important thing was to win, and we did everything to make goals and we won. I did my job. We have to know how to play without Messi, and win so he is back with us in good shape."

Barcelona currently top Group E with four points.
