A 92nd-minute Ibai Gomez goal gives Athletic Bilbao all three points away at Real Zaragoza.

A late Ibai Gomez goal has given Athletic Bilbao all three points away at Real Zaragoza in La Liga this evening.

Zaragoza took a first-half lead through Helder Postiga, but were pushed back in the second period, eventually conceding to Fernando Llorente before Gomez's last-minute winner.

After a tight opening, it was Zaragoza who created the game's first real chance when Apono's cross found Postiga free in the box, but the forward couldn't direct his header on target.

Two minutes later he made up for his miss, hanging in the air to head Federico Montanes's cross over the goalkeeper and into the corner of the net.

Oscar de Marcos missed the target after being played in by Markel Susaeta shortly afterwards, before the latter saw his own long-range effort tipped over the bar.

The hosts missed good chances either side of half time, with Rodri seeing his low effort from just inside the box saved and Postiga seeing another good header drop wide.

Bilbao started to play better after that, with Iker Muniain getting more involved in the game and with 10 minutes to go they got an equaliser.

De Marcos fired in a cross after the ball fell to him wide on the right, before Llorente turned on it and poked it past the defender and the goalkeeper on the six-yard line.

The hosts went on the attack after that, but were undone on the counter-attack, as De Marcos somehow kept the ball in play on the right before squaring across the goal for Gomez to flick it in.
