Atalanta and Udinese share a point in Bergamo as they play out a 1-1 draw in their Serie A clash.

Atalanta and Udinese have played out a 1-1 draw with each other in Bergamo in Serie A.

The home side made all the early running in the match, with Giuseppe De Luca and Carlos Carmona combining nicely in the 27th minute only to be foiled by Roberto Pereyra.

However, it was Udinese who broke the deadlock at Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia in the 33rd minute when Luis Muriel turned in Giovanni Pasquale's cross at the far post past Andrea Consigli.

Cristian Raimondi replied almost immediately for Atalanta with a header, but it was kept out by Udinese goalkeeper Zeljko Brkic.

Atalanta were awarded a penalty in the 39th minute when Gabriele Angella brought down Federico Peluso inside the Udinese area.

German Denis stepped up to take the spot kick and made no mistake from 12 yards.

Chances were few and far between in the second half, as both sides slowed down the pace of the game and settled for a point.
