Both Garry Monk and Ruud Gullit have reportedly expressed their interest in the vacant Aston Villa manager's post.
Premier League strugglers Villa are without a manager after the departure of Remi Garde earlier this week.
David Moyes and Nigel Pearson are thought to be high on the Birmingham club's wishlist, but both Monk and Gullit have seemingly thrown their hats into the ring.
According to PA, Monk is looking to return to management after losing his job in charge of Swansea City in December, while Gullit has told beIN Sports that he would have to "really, really consider it" if Villa approached him.
Villa are likely to be relegated for the first time in the Premier League era this season as they are 12 points from safety with just seven matches remaining.
