Report: Monaco want Wesley Sneijder

A report claims that Monaco want to sign Wesley Sneijder from Galatasaray.

Monaco are reportedly interested in signing Wesley Sneijder from Galatasaray this summer.

With James Rodriguez seemingly heading for Real Madrid, Monaco are expected to be active in improving their midfield this summer.

According to Fanatik, Sneijder, who is available for around £16m, has emerged as a target for the Ligue 1 side, who will once more battle Paris Saint-Germain for the French title next season.

Manchester United have also been linked with the Netherlands international, but their interest has cooled in the last couple of weeks.

Monaco have also been credited with an interest in Wolfsburg's Luiz Gustavo.
