Report: Monaco want Luiz Gustavo

A report claims that Monaco want to sign Wolfsburg midfielder Luiz Gustavo.

Monaco are reportedly interested in signing Wolfsburg midfielder Luiz Gustavo this summer.

The Brazilian was one of his country's better performers in what was a disappointing World Cup for the five-time champions.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Gustavo's release clause stands in the region of £26m – a figure that Monaco are prepared to pay this summer.

Arsenal, who were linked with the midfielder last summer, are also believed to be preparing another approach.

Gustavo joined Wolfsburg from Bayern Munich last summer.
