Internacional forward Yuri Alberto has hinted that he will not be leaving his Brazilian club in the near future amid suggestions of interest from Premier League side Arsenal.
The 20-year-old scored 19 times and registered four assists in 55 appearances at club level last season and has been linked with a move to the Gunners in recent weeks.
However, the Brazil Under-23s international has said that he is only thinking about helping Internacional 'return to the top in 2022'.
"The 2021 season didn't end the way we wanted but we didn't lack will or dedication. I thank God and everyone who helped me to make my best season as a professional player so far," he wrote on Instagram.
"I also thank you (the fans) for having lived unforgettable moments and made many dreams come true.
"You can be sure I will work a lot harder and dedicate myself so that 2022 is even better and that we all together can put Colorado (The Reds) where they should always be... at the top!"
Alberto, who still has more than three years left to run on his contract with Internacional, has scored 29 times and registered five assists in 84 appearances for his current side in all competitions.
