Liverpool have held further discussions with Luis Suarez's representatives in the past 24 hours in a bid to seek clarification over his future at Anfield.
Suarez has been persistently linked with a summer switch away from Merseyside, with Premier League rivals Arsenal having a transfer enquiry rejected on Monday.
The Uruguayan's agent Pere Guardiola met with Reds managing director Ian Ayre and Brendan Rodgers at the club's Melwood training ground yesterday, according to The Sun.
Guardiola reportedly made it clear in the meeting that his client is desperate to play Champions League football, but did not submit an official transfer request on his behalf.
Real Madrid and Chelsea are also believed to be monitoring Suarez's situation closely, with a view to a £40m transfer offer.
