Luis Suarez's agent Pere Guardiola has attempted to distance his client from speculation of a possible Liverpool departure.
The Uruguay international has hinted that he could be leaving Anfield this summer after he told a radio station in his homeland that it would be "hard to say no" to a Real Madrid move.
Despite the striker's comments, Spanish-based journalist Pete Jenson, writing for The Independent, has revealed that Guardiola - the brother of Bayern Munich boss Pep - has insisted Suarez is content with life on Merseyside.
"He is fine at Liverpool but recent times have been tough for him," said Guardiola. "There is nothing more in it."
The Uruguayan's representative has also told Sky Sports News that the prolific frontman has no intention of leaving Anfield in the summer transfer window.
Suarez was also quoted as saying that he cannot put up with the treatment from British journalists any longer.
