Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge was reportedly offered to Arsenal by his agents on transfer deadline day.
The England international's representatives are understood to have approached the Gunners about a season-long loan, according to Goal.com.
A string of injury problems have restricted the 26-year-old's appearances over the past few seasons, but he still managed to score 13 goals in 25 games in the 2015-16 campaign.
Sturridge has started just one of Liverpool's four games of the season, and he came on as a late substitute in last weekend's 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
