Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "Mohamed Elneny will join us"

Mohamed Elneny may make his Arsenal debut against Stoke City on Sunday afternoon, reveals manager Arsene Wenger.

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Mohamed Elneny has all but completed his move to Arsenal.

The French boss insisted on Monday morning that the deal should be finalised before the end of the week.

Although there has been no official confirmation from the Gunners, Wenger has hinted that the Egyptian midfielder may feature against Stoke City at the weekend.

"Elneny will join us. We will see if he can qualify for Sunday," he told reporters following his side's 3-3 draw away at Liverpool.

Reports have suggested that the Basel player will cost the North Londoners around £5m.
