Arsenal will reportedly rival Tottenham Hotspur in their bid to sign Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey over the January transfer window.
Both clubs are likely to invest in their back four in January following poor starts to the 2019-20 season, with Arsenal sitting in 10th place and Spurs in eighth.
Godfrey, meanwhile, has been an indispensable influence for the Canaries so far this term, featuring in all 15 Premier League games since August.
According to Football Insider, Arsenal plan to go head to head with their North London rivals for the player next month.
Arsenal's hierarchy are said to have been left impressed by Godfrey's performance in a recent 2-2 draw with the Gunners at Carrow Road.
Borussia Dortmund and Lyon have also been credited with showing an interest in the 21-year-old ahead of next month's window.
