Arsenal to move for Inter Milan's Achraf Hakimi?

Arsenal are reportedly plotting a move for Inter Milan defender Achraf Hakimi amid the uncertainty surrounding the Nerazzurri and their owners' involvement at the club.

Arsenal are reportedly hoping to take advantage of Inter Milan's turbulent situation by swooping for full-back Achraf Hakimi.

There are growing concerns that the Nerazzurri's owners - Suning Holdings Group - could elect to scale back their involvement in the club having already shut down Chinese Super League outfit Jiangsu FC.

Such a scenario is reportedly highly unlikely to occur, but should Inter need to raise funds in the near future, Hakimi is sure to garner plenty of interest from top clubs in Europe given his age and stellar performances this season.

According to The Telegraph, the former Real Madrid man has caught the eye of Arsenal, who are supposedly preparing to wave goodbye to current first-choice right-back Hector Bellerin this summer.

The report adds that Hakimi would be available for a reasonable figure of £40m, and as long as any potential suitors promise to fork out his £75k-a-week wages, he would be open to a move elsewhere.

Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the 22-year-old, who boasts six goals and six assists in all competitions for Antonio Conte's side this term.
