Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly identified Karl Darlow as the the ideal goalkeeper to provide competition for Wojciech Szczesny next season.
Following Lukasz Fabianski's decision to leave the club on a free transfer at the end of last term, the Gunners are without a recognised number two keeper.
However, having considered a host of options, Wenger has made Nottingham Forest's Darlow his main target, according to Sky Sports News.
The 23-year-old, who has risen through the ranks at the City Ground, is said to have attracted the interest of a number of clubs, including Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
