Report: Birmingham City to sign Arsenal duo Carl Jenkinson, Cohen Bramall on loan

Championship side Birmingham City are believed to be on the verge of signing Arsenal duo Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall on loan.

Birmingham City have reportedly edged close to the double loan signing of Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall from Arsenal.

Jenkinson, 25, did not feature for the Gunners in the Premier League last season, but played five times in the cup competitions.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Bramall joined Arsenal from non-league Hednesford Town last January but is yet to make a first-team appearance for the North Londoners.

According to The Mirror, Birmingham are hoping to complete the deal today and get the players straight in the team, with their eye on Tuesday's EFL Cup game with Bournemouth.

The Blues currently sit 15th in the Championship table with one win, one draw and two defeats.
