Arsenal contact Barcelona over Pedro?

Arsenal are understood to have made contact with Barcelona over a possible move for Spain international forward Pedro.

Arsenal have reportedly made contact with Barcelona over a possible move for forward Pedro.

The 27-year-old signed a new deal at Camp Nou last month, extending his stay with the European champions until 2019.

However, the Gunners have now reached out to the Catalan giants to express their interest in the Spain international, according to The Mirror.

Pedro scored 11 goals in 51 appearances for Barca during their treble-winning campaign last season.

Liverpool and Manchester City have also been linked with the player.
