Arsenal 'considering Alexandre Lacazette future'

Arsenal are reportedly considering the future of striker Alexandre Lacazette after he was caught inhaling nitrous oxide for the second time in 18 months.

Arsenal could reportedly consider the future of Alexandre Lacazette after the striker was caught inhaling nitrous oxide for the second time in less than two years.

The Gunners released a statement on Sunday confirming that they are taking allegations of Lacazette's behaviour "seriously" and that they will deal with the matter internally.

Lacazette was warned over a similar incident 18 months ago and now faces further disciplinary proceedings following his latest transgression.

The Daily Mail claims that the reports have plunged the Frenchman's future into even more doubt, with talks over a new contract at the Emirates Stadium having stalled.

The 28-year-old's current contract does not expire until 2022, but reports have suggested that Arsenal would rather offload him this summer than risk losing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Lacazette has scored nine goals in 26 appearances across all competitions for Arsenal this season.
