Arsene Wenger praises Crystal Palace performance

Arsene Wenger admits that it was hard for his Arsenal players to break down a "organised and united" Crystal Palace side.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has praised Crystal Palace's performance in their 2-0 defeat against the Gunners this afternoon.

Tony Pulis's side frustrated the hosts for long periods in the match, but were undone by two Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain goals in the second half.

"Crystal Palace were well organised and united in their desire to do the job. They are a physically strong side and we knew we had to take advantage of our chances, and we did," Wenger told BBC Sport.

The win took Arsenal back to the top of the Premier League.
