Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says that the future is bright at Arsenal after their win over Wigan Athletic.

Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has no doubts that the future is bright at the Emirates Stadium.

The England international picked up the man of the match award as the Gunners secured a 1-0 win against Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.

The 19-year-old was one of five players who signed a new contract with the club during the week, and he believes that the red side of North London boasts a promising future.

"The players that we've got here now, there's some really exciting young players," said Oxlade-Chamberlain.

"I think it's a good mix of youth and experience. The future does look bright for us."

The win moves Arsenal up to third in the Premier League table.
