Montpellier playmaker Younes Belhanda says that he is happy he did not move to Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur.

Montpellier's Younes Belhanda has revealed that he is happy he did not move to Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur.

The Moroccan international was linked with the two clubs during the January transfer window, but neither club was prepared to meet Montpellier's £10m asking price.

"The club received an offer but they decided to refuse, they have their reasons," Belhanda told talkSPORT.

"But there is no problem, I'm glad I stayed at Montpellier."

Belhanda has made 27 appearances for Montpellier this season, scoring nine goals.
