Montpellier's Younes Belhanda is close to a move to Fenerbahce after agreeing personal terms with the Turkish side.
Fenerbahce's vice-president, Abdullah Kigili, has revealed that an agreement with the French champions over a fee is all that is holding up the deal.
The two sides are currently in the process of negotiations for the Moroccan international, who has made 121 appearances for Montpellier.
"They'd reduced their original price to €10m but we've offered them €8m," Kigili told AA.
"We have an agreement with the player himself, now we just have to wait for Montpellier to accept our offer."
Montpellier are struggling to find the form that delivered the title last year and were defeated 3-2 by Marseille this afternoon.
