Arsene Wenger confirms Mathieu Flamini will return for North London derby

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirms that Mathieu Flamini will return to action following a dead leg in this weekend's North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Mathieu Flamini has returned to the team for Saturday's North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates.

The Frenchman missed the Gunners' 3-0 victory over Aston Villa last weekend, as well as their midweek 2-1 defeat to Southampton in the Capital One Cup.

However, the midfielder has recovered from a dead leg in time to take on the Gunners' local rivals on home turf.

Wenger also confirmed that the game has come too soon for Nacho Monreal.
