Arsenal or Liverpool face Everton in FA Cup quarters

Everton are handed an FA Cup quarter-final tie against either Arsenal or Liverpool away from home.

Everton have been handed an FA Cup quarter-final tie against either Arsenal or Liverpool away from home.

The Reds will take on Arsenal in the fifth round of the competition at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon, knowing that victory in London would set up a Merseyside derby at Anfield.

Meanwhile, Manchester City will host holders Wigan Athletic at the Etihad Stadium in a repeat of the 2013 final.

Elsewhere, the last-eight stage could throw up a Steel City derby, with Sheffield United or Nottingham Forest drawn at home to Sheffield Wednesday or Charlton Athletic.

Sunderland, who will feature in the Capital One Cup final later this month, face an away trip to either Brighton & Hove Albion or Hull City.

All quarter-final ties will be played on March 8 and 9.

FA Cup quarter-final ties:

Arsenal or Liverpool vs. Everton
Brighton & Hove Albion or Hull City vs. Sunderland
Sheffield United or Nottingham Forest vs. Sheffield Wednesday or Charlton Athletic
Manchester City vs. Wigan Athletic
