Queen of the South have gone top of the Scottish Championship after beating Dumbarton 4-0, while a Ryan Conroy goal was enough to help Raith Rovers past Alloa Athletic.
A first-half goal from Derek Lyle at the Bet Butler Stadium was followed by second-half strikes from Gavin Reilly, James Fowler and Iain Russell allowing Queen of the South to leapfrog Rangers into first and rooting Dumbarton to the foot of the table.
Elsewhere, Ryan Conroy struck early for Raith against Alloa leaving them second ahead of third-placed Rangers, who beat Falkirk 2-0 on Friday night.
A late Lewis Milne strike proved futile for Cowdenbeath, who were beaten 2-1 at Livingston after goals from Daniel Mullen and Jordan White.
