AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi has insisted that he cannot take any credit for the red-hot form of striker Jeremy Menez.
The Frenchman grabbed an 83rd-minute winner in Saturday's 2-1 win at Palermo to bring his total for the season to 16 - one fewer than leading goalscorer Carlos Tevez.
The 27-year-old was signed last summer after being deemed surplus to requirements at Paris Saint-Germain, and Inzaghi says that the club's hierarchy deserve praise for signing him.
"Menez? I don't take any credit," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"He is a good centre-forward and he's also good as a winger. [Silvio] Berlusconi and [Adriano] Galliani invested him and they deserve praise.
"He mustn't stop now, though. He must try to become Serie A's top goalscorer, not for himself but for the team."
The Rossoneri sit eighth in Serie A, seven points adrift of the Europa League places.
