Team GB diver Jack Laugher has qualified for the final of the men's 3m springboard in Rio de Janeiro by a margin of just two points.

The 21-year-old, who won gold in the synchro event last week, was notably off-form in the semi-final and faltered on three of his six dives.
Laugher's final tally of 389.40 - around 100 points fewer than he would normally amass - included terrible scores of 39.90 for his forward 4-1/2 and 47.25 for his reverse 3-1/2.
Finishing in 12th place, Laugher made it through on the strength of the other dives in his routine, including a top score of 86.70 for his very first effort, the forward 2-1/2 with 2 twists.
Once again, China's Cao Yuan led the pack with a final score of 489.10 - including a 94.50 for his reverse 3-1/2 - while there were also comfortable final berths for Mexico's Rommel Pacheco (469.70), Russia's Evgenii Kuznetsov (468.35) and the USA's Mike Hixon (467.25).
Ireland's first Olympic diver in 68 years, Oliver Dingley, secured comfortable progression to the final with a solid ninth-place finish during the session, but it was to be the final stand for Jamaica's Yona Knight-Wisdom, who fell short with a tally of 381.40.
