Coach Steve Hansen hails "special" All Blacks after Australia rout

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen calls his side's 51-20 demolition of Australia a "special performance".

New Zealand coach Steve Hansen hailed a "special performance" as his side thrashed Australia 51-20 in the Rugby Championship at Eden Park on Saturday.

The record win saw the world champions bounce back from their 12-12 draw with the Wallabies in Sydney last week.

Hansed said after the game: "It was a special performance. I sensed that we were going to play a lot better than the week before, because we played so poor the week before and because we trained so very well.

"We managed to bring our A game tonight."

The All Blacks will host Argentina next Saturday while Australia will face South Africa.
