Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett insists that none of the club's top players will be sold before the start of pre-season training.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has revealed that he intends to speak to the club's top players before making a decision on their future.

Jamie O'Hara, Kevin Doyle and Bakary Sako have all been linked with a move away from Wolves after their relegation to League One, but Jackett has insisted that no-one will be departing Molineux before he has had a chance to talk with them.

The 51-year-old told the Express & Star: "It's too early to talk about specific players leaving. I have my own ideas but the work and the assessment starts now. Also, in terms of individual players, it's about what they feel, which I'll find out when they come back.

"I will maybe be speaking to their agents as well and we'll make assessments on individuals. I'm looking forward to meeting to them and speaking to them. I have my own ideas and views on the team and what it needs, so I'm not going into it blindly.

"I need to speak to all of them and see where they are, what page they're on and make sure they're on the one that comes out fighting, successful and winning come August 3."

Jackett was installed as the club's new head coach last week.
